A recognition of girl gamers everywhere!

A new month, a new feature! This month, we will be interviewing girls that are gamers and getting their input on what it’s like, what games they play, what it means to them to be a gamer, and what their opinions are on the gender bias surrounding video games.

There’s been a lot of controversy surrounding the term “girl gamer” lately, and we want the girls’ opinion on it. We want to break down the barrier and filters and take away the gender specification. In our eyes, you’re neither a girl gamer or a guy gamer. You’re either a gamer, or your not.

We’ve searched high and low to find female gamers of different backgrounds and with different interests to let us know how they felt about the term and how they kick ass in the gaming world. We will be featuring at least 2 different girls a week, but we’d obviously love to do more!

Are you a girl that games and would like to join in on our September feature? Shoot us an email at contactus@biasbear.me We’d love to feature you!
