Gamescom 2014, held in Cologne Germany August 13-17, is offering a new ticket structure to improve visitor quality and the ability to calculate ticket availability more accurately.

One option to make sure your ticket is secured is to sign up for the Gamescom newsletter. By doing so, you can win a Wild Card pass and exclusive pre-sale tickets. Deadline to register is February 10,2014.

The Wild Card pass allows you access to Gamescom on August 13-Trade Visitor and Media Day- to play and test the games available. Even if you don’t win a Wild Card, you will still have the option to purchase pre-sale tickets at a reduced price. You can register for the Gamescom newsletter at http://www.gamescom-cologne.com/

The general admission tickets will only be available for one day at a time. If general admission is not sold out, there will be tickets available for sale at the door. At Gamescom 2013, day tickets were completely sold out, so you probably shouldn’t wait if you plan on going.

There will be a 3 day ticket sold only for trade visitors. You can visit the Gamescom website for more information on obtaining a trade ticket.
