2014 Unity Award Winners Announced at Unity Conference

This year, the Unity Conference took place in Seattle, Washington from August 20-22. The conference was open to developers, publishers, and Unity enthusiasts to celebrate and learn more about the popular engine.

During the event, awards were announced. The winners were chosen by a combination of votes from Unity Technology and the developer community.

The lucky winners are:

  • Best Student Project:  The Rift: URIDIS  (ISART DIGITAL)
  • Best 3D Visual Experience:  Monument Valley  (ustwo)
  • Best 2D Visual Experience:  The Bridge  (Ty Taylor and Mario Castaneda)
  • Best Gameplay:  Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft  (Blizzard Entertainment)
  • Best Technical Achievement:  Shader Forge  (Joachim Holmer)
  • Best VizSim Project:  Minto Longbranch Visualization  (NVYVE Inc.)
  • Best Non-game Project:  Art and Skin  (Alexx Henry Studios, LLC)
  • Golden Cube:  Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft  (Blizzard Entertainment)

Nomination for the 2015 Unity Awards will being in spring 2015.
